You can get a checking account if you were blacklisted by ChexSystems. Some banks and credit unions offer so-called "second chance" checking accounts.
These accounts might come with monthly fees, but you can move to a regular, less costly account after a year or two of good account management.

Nope! You need to call Chexsystems, any bank can give you the number. They will send you a long form to fill out and mail back. You should receive a report showing any NSF checks that were written. Once you are on their list, it's for life! Your best recourse is to use the report to repay what is owed to the company's that reported you. Then ask them to contact Chexsystems and tell them you have payed restitution and to have that reflected on your report.

Why would you say no? You most certainly can get a checking if you're on checksystems. There are tons of checking accounts that do not use CS.

Varo will give you an account plus card to use. Download the Varo app through google play store, it's free. The Varo account is free and you can load it through various retailers. It is the easiest account to get with no credit check, no minimum balance, 0 fees and options for paid checking, etc. when you are ready.

Like how much can Varo collect as check, can I deposit up to $50,000 to Varo daily?
