Cardholders can set up American Airlines AAdvantage® MileUp® automatic payments through their online account or the Citibank mobile app. Calling customer service at 1 (888) 766-2484 also is an option. Once you’re enrolled, Citibank will withdraw the payment amount from your linked bank account on the scheduled date.
How to Set Up AAdvantage MileUp Card Automatic Payments:
- Log in to your online account via the Citibank website or mobile app.
- Find “Payments & Transfers” on the account home page and then select “Manage AutoPay.”
- Enter your bank account routing number and account number. This is the account from which Citibank will deduct your payment each month.
- Select your payment amount. Choose from the minimum amount due, the current balance, the statement balance, or a customized amount that is more than the minimum payment.
You should always make sure your bank account has enough funds for the payment a few days before the due date, to be safe. And once you’re enrolled in automatic payments, don’t forget to review your recent transactions regularly.
