The Hilton Credit Card does not offer cell phone insurance. Cell phone insurance on other cards reimburses the cost of repairing or replacing a damaged or stolen phone if a cardholder regularly pays the phone bill with the card, though it’s not a benefit commonly offered by credit card issuers.
The Hilton Credit Card benefits include rental car insurance, purchase protection, extended warranty, and a Global Assist Hotline. The Hilton Credit Card also offers access to exclusive experiences and presale tickets for events, along with complimentary Hilton Honors Silver status.
Here are the Hilton Credit Card benefits:
Rental car insurance: Covers up to $50,000 in damage or theft for rentals of up to 30 days paid for with your Hilton Credit Card. This benefit applies when you decline the coverage offered by the car rental company. This product provides secondary coverage and does not include liability coverage. Keep in mind that not all vehicle types or rentals are covered and geographic restrictions also apply.... read full answer
Purchase protection: Pays up to $1,000 per item and $50,000 per card each calendar year for items that are damaged, lost, or stolen within 90 days of being purchased.
Extended warranty: Adds up to one additional year to the original manufacturer’s warranty on items purchased with your Hilton Credit Card. The original warranty must be five years or less. The total coverage from Amex caps out at $10,000 per item and up to $50,000 per card each calendar year.
Global Assist Hotline: Offers 24/7 access to free information useful for trip planning, managing situations like lost bags, and getting referrals to medical and legal help while traveling more than 100 miles away from home. While calling the Hotline is free, third-party service costs may be your responsibility.
Experiences: Cardholders get the opportunity to attend exclusive events and access presale tickets for concerts, sporting events, the theater, and more.
Silver status: Free Silver status in the Hilton Honors loyalty program, which provides perks like a 20% bonus on points earned for stays, and a fifth night free when booking with points.
Along with these benefits, the Hilton Credit Card has a $0 annual fee and gives rewards on all purchases. As long as you have good credit, the Hilton Credit Card is certainly a card to consider adding to your wallet.

To file American Express claims, log in to the online Amex claims center and click "File a Claim." Next, select your American Express card, find the benefit you want to file a claim for in the "Find Your Benefits" menu, and click "Continue" to start filling out a claim form.
You can also start the process to file American Express claims over the phone. You’ll need to look at your card’s benefits guide to find the number, since it will differ based on the benefit. After you call, Amex will mail you a claim form, which you’ll have to return with any supplemental information.
Here's how to file American Express claims for benefits online:
Enter your date of purchase at the bottom of the page if needed. This is required for purchase protection, return protection, and extended warranty claims. For baggage insurance plan claims, simply enter the date of the trip. If you have more than one item to claim, just enter the first one and you'll have the opportunity to add more at a later stage.
Choose the benefit you want to file a claim for from the "Find Your Benefits" menu.
Click "Continue" and fill out the claims form while providing the required documentation.
Depending on the benefit, different information will be required for different American Express claims. For example, purchase protection will ask for the type of item that was damaged or stolen and the date the incident happened, whereas rental car insurance will ask for a description of the incident and the time period of the rental. For each type of claim, you’ll also need to add certain requested supplemental information, such as receipts, police reports, damage estimates and more.
Timeline
Depending on the benefit, you’ll have different amounts of time to file American Express claims. For example, trip delay insurance requires you to notify Amex of your intention to file a claim within 60 days of the incident and provide all requested information within 180 days. For return protection, you’ll need to provide a notification within 90 days and then submit supplemental information within 30 days after that. Be sure to read your card’s benefits guide for the full details.
