To view your American Express statements, log in to your American Express account online, go to the account balance page, and click “View Transactions.” Then, select a billing statement from the previous two years to view, download and print. Or, from the mobile app, tap the “Statements” icon at the bottom of the screen, click “Transactions and Statements,” and select a statement to view.
Once you’ve chosen an American Express statement, select the download icon and choose a file format to save the document to your computer or mobile device. You can download American Express statements as a PDF, Excel, CSV or Quicken file. You can also click the printer icon at the right of the screen to print a hard copy of the statement.
You will get an American Express statement each month by mail, too. If you choose, you may enroll in paperless statements and receive statements only online. Once you enroll, Amex will e-mail you every month to let you know your statement is ready to view online. You may log into your online account and switch back to paper statements at any time.
