The fastest way to fill out an Amex Cash Magnet application is online. Click the blue button that says “Apply Now.” Then, put in your full name, address, DOB, phone number, SSN or ITIN and the source of your income. Click the blue “Continue” button at the bottom. You’ll then be presented with the card’s terms and conditions, which you should read over to make sure you agree. Once you’re done, click the blue “Agree and Submit Application” button at the bottom.
Keep in mind that once you submit your Amex Cash Magnet application, Amex will do a hard pull of your credit, which will temporarily lower your score by a few points. In most cases, you should receive an application decision within 30 seconds, but in some cases it could take up to a few weeks for Amex to come to a decision.
If you’d rather fill out your Amex Cash Magnet application over the phone, you can call Amex at 1 (800) 243-3888 from 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. ET, any day of the week.
