The SimplyCash® Plus Business Credit Card from American Express $250 bonus offer is no longer available, as the card has been discontinued. However, it has been replaced by the American Express Blue Business Cash™ Card, which offers a $250 statement credit for spending $3,000 in the first 3 months. There are a few things to be aware of before you sign up, though.
Here’s how the Amex Blue Business Cash $250 bonus offer works:
- New cardholders get a $250 statement credit for spending $3,000 in the first 3 months. Applicants who have had or have this card are not eligible for this offer. Amex may also consider the number of cards existing customers have opened and closed to determine eligibility.
- Purchases made by you and any authorized users on your account will count toward the spending requirements.
- Purchases that you return won’t count toward the spending requirement. And if you return something after getting the credit, Amex could take it away.
- Fees, interest, prepaid cards, person-to-person payments, and cash equivalents don’t count as eligible spending.
- You’ll get your Amex Blue Business Cash $250 bonus as a statement credit, 8-12 weeks after you meet the spending requirements. If there’s a delay, you can call the number on the back of your card to speak to a representative.
- To receive a statement credit, your account must not be cancelled or past due at the time it is posted.
Even though the SimplyCash® Plus Business Credit Card from American Express bonus is no longer available, its replacement makes for an excellent alternative. The Amex Blue Business Cash $250 bonus offer is a great benefit and the card also has a $0 annual fee. Plus, the statement credit is applied to your account automatically, so you don’t have to worry about redemption. And in addition to the bonus, you also earn 2% cash back on all purchases up to $50,000 spent per year, then 1%, automatically credited to your statement.
