You can apply for the Southwest Plus Card online, or in-person at a Chase branch. You cannot apply over the phone, though.
Here is how to apply for the Southwest Plus Card credit card:
Online: Visit the Southwest Plus Card page and click the "Apply Now" button.
In-person: Visit your local Chase branch and let a representative know that you would like to apply for the card.
Applying requires you to provide some personal information such as your name, address, Social Security number (SSN), email and phone number. You will also have to provide financial information like your total annual income, source of income, and housing payments.
The Southwest Plus Card requires good credit or better (a credit score of 700+) for good odds of approval. Applying triggers a hard inquiry on your credit report, which can temporarily lower your credit score. If you don’t know where you stand, you can always check your credit score for free, right here on WalletHub. Other factors such as your income, debts, housing expenditures and your overall ability to make credit card payments will also be taken into consideration.
