The best Wells Fargo cash back credit card is the Wells Fargo Cash Wise Visa Card because it has an initial bonus of $200 for spending $1,000 in the first 3 months. It also offers 1.5% cash back on all purchases and has a $0 annual fee. It even gives 0% intro APRs to new cardholders. These features make Cash Wise an attractive card all-around.
The only other Wells Fargo cash back credit card is the Wells Fargo Cash Back College Card, which offers 3% cash back on up to $2,500 spent on gas, grocery and drugstore purchases during the first 6 months. It gives 1% cash back on everything else and has no annual fee. It also offers 0% for 6 months on purchases and 0% for 6 months on balance transfers. The rest of Wells Fargo’s rewards credit cards give you points.
Cash back rewards do not expire as long as your account stays open. That’s the good news. The bad news is there aren’t any card options for people with fair, bad or limited credit, other than the Cash Back College Card. This card is available to students with limited credit.
If you’re in one of those groups, you may want to try cards from other issuers. Capital One’s QuicksilverOne card gives 1.5% cash back and only requires fair or limited credit. And the Discover it Secured card allows people with bad credit to earn up to 2% cash back.
