There is no Blue Cash Preferred over limit fee. However, your minimum monthly payment will increase once you go over the credit limit.
Having said that, it is also worth noting that it’s best to avoid transactions that come anywhere close to going over your credit limit. The amount of credit you use affects your credit score. So, the general rule of thumb is to maintain a utilization ratio of less than 30%.
So, instead of going over your limit, it would be better to ask for a credit limit increase. You can ask for an American Express credit limit increase online or by calling either the number on the back of your card.
