Yes, Capital One offers price protection. The Capital One price protection benefit reimburses cardholders the difference between the price originally paid for an item and a lower sale price advertised by any retailer within 120 days of the purchase date. Capital One price protection does not cover certain items, such as jewelry, art, auction items, and real estate. To be covered by Capital One price protection, the cardholder must have paid for the item entirely using one of these cards or rewards earned with the card. The coverage has a limit of $250 per item, with an annual limit of $1,000 per account.
To file a Capital One price protection claim, call the Benefit Administrator or visit the card benefits website and request a claim form within 120 days of when the lower price was first advertised. Then, submit the form and any other required documents, such as a copy of the printed advertisement that shows the date of advertisement, an itemized sales receipt, and a copy of the billing statement demonstrating the purchase, within 180 days of when you opened the claim. Refer to your benefits guide for complete details.

The Capital One price protection reimburses cardholders who purchase an item with an eligible card and later find a lower price for it.
The Capital One Mastercards discontinued the price protection benefit in 2019, so currently it’s not available on any Capital One credit cards.
