When you add a Capital One SavorOne authorized user, they will receive their own credit card, sent to your mailing address, within 7-10 business days of being added to the account. The authorized user’s credit card will be linked to your account and will have full access to the account’s credit limit. Capital One authorized users are able to make purchases and earn rewards. However, they cannot track purchases, report issues, redeem rewards, or close accounts.
In addition, any purchases an authorized user makes on the account will appear on your statement, and as the primary cardholder, you are responsible for all purchases on the account. Capital One reports account information to all three of the major credit bureaus, which affects not only the user’s credit history, but also the primary cardholder’s. Authorized users may be removed from an account at the user’s or primary cardholder’s request at any time, and for any reason.

You can add anyone as a Capital One SavorOne authorized user, regardless of age or credit standing. You will need the person's name, phone number and birthdate in order to add them. Once you have the required info, either log in to your online account or call customer service at 1 (877) 338-4802 to begin. If you're adding an authorized user online, once logged in, click "Services" and "Manage Authorized Users." Then, click the green "Add New User" button. By phone, state "add an authorized user" when prompted. No matter which method you use, there are a few things you should know before you decide to add an authorized user to your SavorOne card.
For starters, there's no limit to the number of authorized users you can add. Each authorized user will have a SavorOne card in their name and will share your account's available credit limit. Authorized users can make purchases, check account information and report lost or stolen cards. However, they cannot negotiate account terms or add other authorized users. Only the primary cardholder can add authorized users to an account. As the primary cardholder, you can also set spending limits for each authorized user. You're also responsible for paying for all purchases any authorized user charges to your account.
