Capital One SavorOne entertainment purchases earn 3% cash back with no limit. Qualifying entertainment purchases include tickets bought at movie theaters, record stores and video rental locations (excluding digital streaming and subscription services). Ticket purchases for tourist attractions, amusement parks, aquariums and zoos also qualify. Other eligible ticket purchases include those for pool and billiard halls, bowling alleys, live pro or semi-pro sporting events, live concerts and theatrical productions.

Capital One relies on merchant category codes to determine if a purchase qualifies for 3% cash back. Any entertainment-related purchases not coded "entertainment" will earn 1% cash back. This includes purchases at golf courses, country clubs (including membership fees), collegiate sporting events coded as "universities" or entertainment and resort packages categorized as "travel" or "hotel." Capital One does not set merchant category codes nor are they responsible for which codes merchants or third party websites use.
