There is no Capital One Platinum Secured concierge benefit. Cardholders with questions about their account can call the phone number on the back of the card for assistance, but the customer service representative won’t be able to perform the wide range of services provided by some credit card concierges.
A concierge acts like an on-demand personal assistant for cardholders, able to help with nearly anything, from travel and purchase assistance to directions and restaurant reservations. Although Capital One Platinum Secured does not offer concierge service, plenty of other credit cards do. If the benefit is important to you, some popular credit cards that have a concierge are Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards Credit Card and Capital One SavorOne Cash Rewards Credit Card.
The Capital One Platinum Secured Card does not offer rental car insurance. But there are other Capital One cards that do have this benefit, which covers damage or theft of the vehicle, damage or theft of personal items, loss of use and towing charges. Cardholders are covered up to the actual cash value of the vehicle or $50,000, depending on the card.… read full answer
To get coverage, a cardholder must pay for the rental entirely with an eligible Capital One credit card or rewards. Examples of eligible cards include the Capital One Venture and Capital One SavorOne.
If you'd like a credit card with rental car insurance, there are plenty of options outside of Capital One, too.

Here’s how to increase your chances of converting your Capital One Platinum Secured to unsecured:
Make on-time payments. This is probably the most important part of the process. If you don’t pay your Capital One Platinum Secured bills by the due date, you won’t even be considered for graduation.
Use your card responsibly. Maintaining low credit utilization will indicate to Capital One that you can handle an unsecured card. So, aim to use only 30% or less of your Capital One Platinum Secured’s limit.
Improve your other finances. Adding to your income and paying down debt will improve your creditworthiness as a whole, making you a better candidate for an unsecured card.
When your Capital One Platinum Secured graduates to unsecured, your credit line no longer needs to be secured with collateral. So, when you graduate, the initial deposit you made to open the secured card will be refunded. And you’ll also keep the good credit history you’ve earned with your Capital One Platinum Secured.
You can add money to a Capital One Platinum Secured card either through the Capital One deposit page online or by calling their dedicated line, within 35 days of approval. For online deposits, enter your zip code and the last four digits of your Social Security number.

How to do it: You can add money either online or by calling the Capital One Platinum Secured dedicated line within 35 days of approval. Adding money online requires you to enter your ZIP code, the last four digits of your SSN, and the customer number you received when you were approved. If you don’t have the customer number, simply call customer service to make a deposit by phone.
Minimum deposit: You can add up to a $1,000 total limit, but you must first meet the required minimum deposit. Minimum deposits will be $49, $99 or $200, depending on the specifics of your credit. Regardless of the minimum deposit amount, the Capital One Platinum Secured card guarantees an initial credit limit of $200.
Additional deposits: Any money you add to your Capital One Platinum Secured card above the minimum amount required will raise the card’s credit limit by that same amount. So if you pay an additional $300 on top of your original deposit, the new credit limit will be $500. The maximum overall limit is $1,000 and any additional deposits must be made within 25 days of approval, in multiples of $20.
Payments are made electronically through your bank account. Capital One does not accept cash payments or checks. Once you’ve paid the full minimum deposit, your Capital One Platinum Secured car will be mailed within 2-3 weeks.
