Capital One VentureOne travel insurance is reasonable - if you or a family member either dies or is dismembered while traveling with a common carrier, Visa can reimburse you for the loss.
Hopefully you won't ever need to use this benefit. But it's there, so you don't have to purchase additional travel insurance.
In addition to that, if your bags are lost by a travel provider or get stolen, you can get reimbursed for up to $3,000 per trip. Anothe travel related benefit worth mentioning is the rental car insurance they have. Just pay for the car rental with your card entirely and decline the optional CDW from the rental company and you're covered.
Consult the specifics in your travel benefits in your card's terms. Or ask Capital One for a copy of those terms.
