The Chase Freedom Flex card does not currently have an Uber discount, other than the card’s base rewards rate of 1% cash back, which it gives on most purchases.
Chase sometimes puts “Local Commuter Transportation” as one of its rotating 5% cash back bonus categories, and you can earn 5% cash back on Uber and Lyft rides when it does. This 5% cash back applies to no more than $1,500 in quarterly bonus category purchases.
If you don’t want to wait for a potential future bonus category, there are other credit cards that can help you save on Uber. The two best credit cards for Uber savings are the American Express® Gold Card and the Blue Cash Preferred® Card from American Express.
