No, Chase Freedom Unlimited no longer offers an authorized user bonus. Chase ended the incentive in September 2018. It gave cardholders 2,500 bonus points (worth $25) for adding an authorized user within the first 3 months after the account opened. The authorized user then had to make at least one purchase with the card during those first 3 months.
Chase Freedom Unlimited is not the only Chase card to lose its authorized user bonus. This perk was discontinued from almost all Chase credit cards. Only a couple of Chase’s co-branded cards currently offer a bonus for adding an authorized user. Furthermore, it’s not known if Chase will reinstate the incentive on its general-consumer cards anytime soon.
