You can get a Chase Ink referral bonus by inviting other business owners to apply for any of the Ink Business credit cards; the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card, the Ink Business Cash® Credit Card card, and the Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card. To invite people to apply for an Ink Business card, you must register online with Chase’s Refer-A-Business Program to receive a special link.
If someone you refer is approved, you’ll receive 20,000 bonus points, worth $200 cash back (or $250 toward travel booked through Chase Ultimate Rewards with the Chase Ink Preferred). You’re eligible for five referral bonuses (100,000 points total) each calendar year.
How to get a Chase Ink referral bonus:
Register for the Refer-a-Business program
You can register online from the Refer-A-Business page or through the Chase mobile app.
Online, enter your name, zip code and last 4 digits of your Ink Business card number. Then, click “Get Started.” You should see your referral link and a list of options for sharing the link.
From the mobile app, log in with your Chase online username and password. You should see the “Refer friends” option. The next page will include the referral link and your sharing options.
Share your referral link
Once you click the “Copy Link” button, you can send your link through text, e-mail or social media. You can always copy the referral link and e-mail it on your own. If you have a Facebook or Twitter account, you can post a general invitation link, too.
Wait for your referrals to be approved
The application deadline is set for later than the last day you can refer to allow the individual time to consider the offer. When a referral is approved for the Ink Business card using your referral link, you’ll receive 20,000 bonus points. If they are denied, you won’t receive the bonus. Rejected applications do not count against your five annual referrals limit.
Collect and redeem your bonus points
Your bonus points will post to your Chase Ultimate Rewards account within two months of your referral’s application being approved. Because of privacy concerns, Chase will not disclose information on the application status(es) of any referral(s).
Points do not expire as long as your account stays open. You can only refer people for the Chase card you own. If you refer them for the Ink Business card and they apply for another Chase card, you won’t receive a bonus.
The Chase Ink referral bonus makes for a nice addition to the cards’ initial bonuses: $750 after spending $7,500 within 3 months with the Ink Cash card and the Chase Ink Business Unlimited, and 100,000 points if you spend at least $15,000 in the first 3 months from account opening with the Chase Ink Preferred card.
