What's the Chase Sapphire Reserve luxury hotel benefit?

The Chase Sapphire Reserve luxury hotel benefit offers special perks at more than 1,000 properties in Chase’s Luxury Hotel and Resort Collection. When booking a stay at one of these properties with a Chase Sapphire Reserve card, cardholders can take advantage of complimentary Wi-Fi and room upgrades, among other things.

• Complimentary Wi-Fi
• Room upgrade (if available)
• Early check-in and late check-out (if available)
• A special benefit worth up to $100 (unique to each property)

The special benefit, that’s unique to the specific hotel or resort, could be lunch or dinner, a spa treatment, or golf course fee waivers. The luxury hotel benefit is actually not completely unique to the Chase Sapphire Reserve card. This benefit is also available on a few other Chase co-branded cards.  

Here’s how the Chase Sapphire Reserve luxury hotel benefit works:

To receive the Chase Sapphire Reserve luxury hotel benefit, you will need to book via the Luxury Hotel and Resort Collection website. And you must use the Chase Sapphire Reserve card (or another qualifying Chase card) to pay.

The site lets you search for hotels by location and then see a list of available amenities before booking. You will not be charged when you book a stay. Instead, you will be charged at the time of stay by the property directly. In addition, since these hotel and resort stays are travel purchases, you’ll earn at 3 points per $1 spent on them. They’re eligible for the card’s $300 annual travel credit, too.
