There are no Chase teenager credit cards. By law, it's prohibited to offer credit cards to anyone under 18.
You can, however, add a teenager as an authorized user to your card, since Chase has no age restrictions for authorized users. By doing so, you can teach them financial responsibility, but you can also help them build their credit from a young age.
I'd suggest using the Chase Freedom Unlimited for this. It's a card for people with good or excellent credit offering:
- 3% cash back at restaurants and drugstore purchases
- 1.5% cash back on everything else
- Intro purchase APR of 0% for 15 months
- $0 annual fee
Your authorized user will have the same credit limit as you, will earn you rewards and will receive most of the Chase benefits. It won't, however be able to redeem rewards or change your credit limit.
