Yes, a Citi Costco Visa is the only type of Costco credit card, following Costco’s switch from American Express to Visa in 2016. But there are two versions: the Costco Anywhere Visa Card by Citi (for consumers) and the Costco Anywhere Visa Business Card by Citi. They offer the exact same terms, though small business owners may qualify for higher spending limits.
Still, even if you shop at Costco, getting a Citi Costco Visa isn’t a no-brainer. Both the consumer and business versions require excellent credit for approval, which rules out roughly three-quarters of us. And Costco rewards aren’t the best part of either offer.
Most importantly, you don’t need a Costco-branded credit card to shop at Costco. You don’t need a Citicard, either. Visa is the most important part of the equation. More specifically, you can now use any Visa card to pay at Costco. And since Costco membership isn’t included with the Citi Costco Visa – everyone has to pay at least $55+ per year, you should only apply if its terms suit your overall spending habits.
With that being said, the Costco Anywhere Card is one of the best Visa credit cards on the market, especially if you spend a lot on gas, dining and travel, in addition to Costco shopping.

Yeah, only one, but you can use any Visa at a Costco, you don't need to apply for their branded card. It's a pretty good card, but it's got pretty high requirements.
