The Citi Diamond Preferred foreign transaction fee is 3%. This fee applies to all purchases processed outside the United States, even if you’re not physically abroad. So, online purchases from internationally based merchants are subject to Citi Diamond Preferred’s foreign fees, too.
However, it is worth noting that this card was not meant for international purchases. Instead, the Citi Diamond Preferred was designed as a financing option. It offers an intro APR of 0% for 12 months on purchases and 0% for 21 months on balance transfers. Note that balance transfers are subject to a fee of 5% (min $5). The card’s regular APR is 17.99% - 28.74% (V).
