No, the Citi Double Cash Card doesn’t have travel insurance anymore. Citibank discontinued travel insurance for the Citi Double Cash Card and most of its other credit cards in September 2019. Prior to that, Citi Double Cash Card offered up to $500,000 in travel accident insurance plus as much as $5,000 in trip cancellation and interruption protection. One of the only remaining Citi credit cards with travel insurance are the Costco Anywhere Visa® Card by Citi and Costco Anywhere Visa® Business Card by Citi, which still offer travel accident insurance. It could be worth looking into if that benefit is important to you. But it no longer has trip cancellation and interruption protection. Citi dropped that benefit for all of its cards in 2019. The card’s other travel-related perks include car rental insurance and roadside assistance.
