Unfortunately, Citi Platinum Select travel insurance benefits were cut in September 2019, along with a slew of benefit cuts to other Citi cards. This card no longer has rental car insurance, trip cancellation and delay insurance, travel accident insurance, lost baggage and baggage delay protection, roadside dispatch, or travel & emergency assistance. It still has extended warranty coverage and damage/theft purchase protection, though.
If you're in the market for a good travel credit card that does offer some of these benefits, consider the Capital One Venture card. It offers secondary rental car insurance, roadside dispatch, travel accident insurance, travel and emergency assistance, lost baggage reimbursement, and more. Plus, it gives 2 - 5 miles per $1 spent, and an initial bonus of 75,000 miles after spending $4,000 in 3 months. The annual fee is $95.

On Sept. 22, 2019, Citi discontinued travel insurance from its credit cards, Citi Platinum Select Mastercard included.
There are lots of rewards credit cards out there that offer travel and purchase protections similar to (or better than) what Citi once did, such as the Chase Sapphire Preferred.
