The Costco Credit Card currently has no sign-up bonus, instead giving a very high ongoing bonus rewards rate on certain purchase categories. Cardholders get 4% cash back on the first $7,000 spent per year on gas, 3% cash back on restaurant and travel purchases, and 2% back at Costco and Costco.com. All purchases outside of the Costco Anywhere Visa credit card’s bonus categories get 1% cash back.
This is one of the best cash back deals on the market, especially for a card that has a $0 annual fee (aside from a Costco membership). Plus, the bonus categories always stay the same and don’t need to be “activated” each quarter like on some other popular rewards cards. They cover a wide variety of purchases, too. It’s rare to see good bonus rewards for gas, dining, groceries and travel all on the same card.
If you’re looking for a credit card with an initial bonus from Citi, you might consider the Citi Rewards+ Card, which offers 15,000 points for spending $1,000 in the first 3 months. By the way, just like the personal version, the Costco Anywhere Visa Business card does not have a sign-up bonus.
