The Credit One application processing timeline could be anywhere between a few seconds and up to three weeks, depending on your application info. More specifically, if you apply online, you could receive an instant decision from Credit One Bank, but in some cases, it may take the issuer up to three weeks to make a ruling.
If you’d like to gauge your approval odds, you can check for Credit One pre-approval before applying. This will give you a sense of your chances with no risk. One factor that might lead to rejection is having more monthly expenses than income.
Here’s the Credit One application processing timeline:
- Decision timeframe: You could be instantly approved for a Credit One credit card if you apply online. The process could also take up to three weeks.
- Checking your status: You can check your Credit One application status online. Just enter your last name and Social Security number, then click on “Check Status”.
- Info verification: Credit One may need to confirm some details before processing your application. You will receive directions to do so if necessary.
- Mailed decision: If you don’t check your application status online, you’ll have to wait up to 10 business days after being approved to actually receive the decision in the mail. Credit One does not send application statuses or decisions by email.
- Delivery: After approval, it can take 7 to 10 business days for your card to reach you. If you didn’t receive your card during this time, contact Credit One Bank’s customer service department at (877) 825-3242. Be sure to activate your card as soon as you receive it. Credit One will close your account if the card is not activated within 14 days of receipt.
- Total Timeframe: It might be a month or more between the day you apply and the day you have a card in your hand. You could receive your decision and your card around the same time.
If you have any questions about the process, you can call Credit One’s Application Information Line at (800) 752-5493. The line is open between 5 a.m. and 9 p.m. from Monday to Friday (6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday).
If your Credit One application is denied, you can request a reconsideration. But you’ll have to prove that your financial situation is better than it appeared on your application in order to get a denial reversed.

Ya, that "Credit One pre-approval" is complete lies. I had a 95% pre-approval, and guess what, I didn't get approved. Now I have a hard inquiry on my credit report. I have been working for over a DECADE to undo what my mother did to my credit so thanks for the set back. If you're reading this DO NOT TRUST CREDIT ONE'S PRE-APPROVAL!!!! And just so I don't have to hear the "maybe you were declined due to other reasons, I make over $4000 a month, and I've lived at the same residence, and have had the same job for 8 years. All of my so called debt has been paid down to less than $1500, so I'm at a loss here. Here is an excellent article on how the "pre approved" is just a marketing scheme. https://www.uswitch.com/credit-cards/guides/3-tips-credit-card-pre-approval/
