It is possible to go over your Credit One Visa card credit limit whenever you make a purchase, but there is no guarantee that Credit One will allow it. There is no fee for going over the limit and you don’t have to opt in for this feature, either.

However, it is not recommended to go over the credit limit. Doing so will increase your credit utilization ratio, which can hurt your credit score. Also, if you exceed your credit line by 20%, Credit One may close your account and require you to pay the entire account balance immediately.

If you find yourself in need of going over the credit limit often, it might be best to just request a credit limit increase. You can do that by calling customer service at (877) 825-3242 or the number you see on the back of your card.
