Your new First Access Card will be ready to make purchases in just a few minutes no matter which method you use to activate it. First Access Card does not have a certain time limit within which you need to activate your card, but it’s best to do it as soon as possible.
How to Activate a First Access Card
By phone: Call 1 (888) 267-7980 or the number on the sticker attached to the front of the card. Verify your personal information (e.g. Social Security number, card number, or phone number associated with your application) to activate your First Access Card.
On the website: Log in to your First Access account (or create an account if you don’t have one) and find the activation page. Enter any required security information, including your phone number, card number, and Social Security number. Activate your First Access Card as instructed.
Your new First Access Card will be available for purchases immediately after activation. If you have any trouble activating your card, customer service can always help you out. You can give them a call at 1 (888) 267-7980.
