Delta-branded American Express cards are expedited free of charge, so it should take 2 to 3 business days from approval to receive my Gold Delta Skymiles in the mail.

That's good, considering that most other American Express cards require 3 to 5 business days for delivery. Also, take into account that you will receive your account number immediately after approval for online applications, so you will be able to use your new American Express card for online purchases even earlier.
