To cancel your Home Depot® Credit Card, call (800) 677-0232 and enter your account information. When prompted to state the reason for your call, simply say “Close Account” and wait to be connected to a representative. In some cases, your account can be closed immediately through the automated system. At the moment, there is no way to close your Home Depot® Credit Card online.
Keep in mind that canceling a credit card can hurt your credit score, because of the decrease of your overall available credit. Since the Home Depot® Credit Card has a $0 annual fee, it might be better for you to keep it open without a balance.
