Macy's made the Macy's Credit Card in partnership with American Express in order to enhance the shopping benefits, offering new opportunities and perks:
- Savings up to $100 for purchases made in the first 2 days of account opening
- 25% off any day of choice with Star Passes
- Birthday offer and free shipping on Macy's purchases for Gold and Platinum members
- 5 points/$1 on Macy's merchandise for Platinum members
- 3 points /$1 rewards at restaurants, 2 points/$1 at gas stations and supermarkets, 1 point/$1 anywhere else
The Macy's card requires at least a good credit score to qualify.
An interesting fact is, that you cannot apply for the Macy's Credit Card online, only in a store location.
