No, the Navy Federal Credit Union More Rewards American Express® Credit Card is not a charge card. It’s a regular credit card that allows you to carry a balance between months. With this card, you can keep your account in good standing by paying just a portion of your balance by the due date. But to avoid being charged interest, it’s best to pay your bills in full each month.

Charge cards are credit cards as well, they just work a bit differently. They require you to pay your balance in full at the end of each billing cycle.
