You can check on your SunTrust credit card application status by calling (800) 477-9702. Follow the prompts to be connected to a customer service representative who can help you with your inquiry. SunTrust will also send you a letter letting you know if you were approved or denied.

If your application is denied, there’s still some hope left. Call (800) 477-9702 to ask for a reconsideration by explaining your particular situation. If that doesn’t change the issuer’s decision about your denial, consider becoming an authorized user on someone else’s account.
