You need a credit score of at least 750 for most TD Bank credit cards. That means applicants for TD Bank credit cards need excellent credit to be approved. But it really depends on which card you’re after. Some TD cards require credit scores lower than that.
Keep in mind that it’s best to wait and apply for a given card after you meet the credit score requirement. You can check your credit score for free on WalletHub.
TD Bank Credit Score Requirements by Card
- TD First Class Visa Signature® Credit Card: 750+ (Excellent credit)
- TD Bank Cash Credit Card: 700+ (at least good credit)
- TD Double Up Card: 750+ (Excellent credit)
- TD Cash Secured Credit Card: 300+ (Bad credit)
- TD Business Solutions Credit Card: 750+ (Excellent credit)
You should note that while your credit score is an important factor, there are plenty of other things that will impact your chances of being approved for a TD Bank credit card, too. Some other key criteria include your income, existing debt load, number of open accounts, recent credit inquiries, employment status, and housing status.
