The only TRIO Credit Card travel insurance benefit is rental car insurance, which covers up to $50,000. The rental insurance covers damage, theft and towing services, as long as the purchase is charged to the card and you rent the vehicle in your own name. You will also have to decline the coverage offered by the rental company.

To file a claim, you’ll need to contact Mastercard customer service at (800) 627-8372. For details on timeframes and coverage limits, check the guide to benefits that came with your card.
