One of the best Uber credit card promotions is 10,000 bonus points (worth $100) for spending $500 in the first 90 days with the Uber Visa. The American Express Platinum card offers another great Uber credit card promotion. It gives up to $200 in Uber credits each year, $15 per month and $35 in December. Through April 30, 2019, you can also get up to $30 off your first Uber ride. Just pay with any American Express card and use the promo code “UBERAMEX.”
Another Uber credit card promotion gets you around 10% off purchases at merchants participating in Visa Local Offers. You just have to link a Visa card to your Uber account and shop at eligible merchants, and you’ll earn rebates in the form of Uber credits.
Last but not least, Chase Sapphire Reserve gives you a $300 annual travel credit that can be used toward Uber.
Here are the Uber credit card promotions:
- 10,000 bonus points when you spend $500 in the first 90 days: Uber Credit Card
- Up to $50 credit for online subscriptions when you spend $5,000 in a year: Uber Credit Card card
- Up to $600 in mobile phone insurance when you pay with your card: Uber Credit Card
- Visa Local Offers - Earn up to $100 in Uber credits with purchases at select merchants: All Visa credit cards
- $30 discount on your first Uber ride when you pay with an Amex card: All American Express credit cards
- Up to $200 in annual Uber credits: American Express Platinum card
- $300 annual travel credit usable for Uber: Chase Sapphire Reserve
- 2% back on Uber purchases: Barclaycard Arrival Plus and Capital One Venture (Uber rides are eligible for travel statement credits)
-
3 points per $1 on Uber purchases: Chase Sapphire Reserve and Citi ThankYou Premier (Uber purchases count as travel)
You could pay for Uber rides with a debit card. But if you do, you’ll lose out on all the rewards that credit card offer. Even if the rewards aren’t Uber-specific, it’ll still be worthwhile to get something back for every dollar you spend.

Uber Visa was designed for those who frequently use Uber, so can't beat the 10,000 bonus points (worth $100) for spending $500 in the first 90 days with the Uber Visa.
