The United℠ Explorer Card authorized user bonus is 2,500 miles. Cardholders can get this bonus when they add an authorized user to their United Explorer Card card. This card is one of only a few on the market to offer such a bonus.
The United Explorer Card authorized user bonus should appear in the cardholder’s account within 6 to 8 weeks after meeting the requirements. The bonus is available for adding one authorized user.
One other good thing to note about authorized users is that an authorized user’s spending still counts toward earning a card’s initial bonus. And authorized users’ purchases will earn rewards at the same rate as the primary cardholder’s purchases. Only the primary cardholder is able to redeem rewards earned by any user on the card, though.
