The Upgrade card credit score requirement is 640, which means that applicants need fair credit or better for approval. But credit score isn’t the only thing that matters when it comes to getting approved for the Upgrade card. Upgrade will also look at the applicant’s income, recent credit inquiries, other debts and more.
While the Upgrade card’s credit score requirement plays a big role in whether you get approved for the card, your credit score is also instrumental in determining the credit line you receive, which could be anywhere from $500 to $25,000. If you only barely qualify for the card with a 640 score, you’re likely to receive a low credit line, and getting the highest credit line will require not only excellent credit but also enrollment in autopay. And your score will also determine what APR you will get, ranging from 14.99% - 29.99%.
Upgrade allows you to check your odds of getting the card, as well as the potential rate and credit score, online. Just click “Get Started” at https://www.upgrade.com/. This pre-qualification process won’t affect your score.
