The US Bank credit card car rental insurance is only available when you decline the rental company's insurance and use your eligible US Bank Visa card to pay for the rental instead. It covers:

Physical damage and/or theft
Valid loss-of-use charges
Reasonable and customary towing charges to the nearest service

It offers reimbursement up to the total cash value of the vehicle.

Vehicles that are not covered:

Expensive, exotic and antique cars
Cargo vans
Trucks
Motorcycles
Limousines

To report an accident, or theft, call 1-800-348-8472 as soon as possible, but no later than 45 days after occurrence.

To file a claim, click here, but remember: it must be postmarked within 90 days of the incident!
