The U.S. Bank FlexPerks travel insurance has multiple components, and basically you will need to use your credit card for the purchase to get coverage. Of course, there are some exclusions, so make sure you revise the terms in the materials that came with your card. Here's what you get: Car Rental Insurance - If you decline the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) offered by the rental agency, your card has you covered up to the value of the car in case of damage or theft Lost Luggage Reimbursement - If your checked or carry-on luggage is lost by an airline or transportation provider, you are eligible for reimbursement. Travel Accident Insurance - If you purchase your travel with your card, you will be covered with Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance.
