Existing cardholders can request a Wells Fargo Platinum card balance transfer directly from their online account. You cannot, however, transfer balances from other Wells Fargo accounts.
A Wells Fargo Platinum card balance transfer will help you pay down high-interest debt and save money on interest charges. The card has an introductory APR of 0% for 18 months on qualifying balance transfers. There’s also a fee of 3% for 120 days, then 5% on each balance transferred.
It’s important to pay off the entire balance before the introductory rate expires. Otherwise, interest charges will accumulate daily on the unpaid balance. The Wells Fargo Platinum card’s regular APR is 16.49% - 24.49% Variable.
