To get a Wells Fargo Reflect virtual credit card number, sign up for Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay through the Wells Fargo mobile app. When you use one of these digital wallets to make a payment, a virtual card number will be generated for your Wells Fargo Reflect.
How to Get a Wells Fargo Reflect Virtual Credit Card
- Log in to your account on the Wells Fargo mobile app.
- Select “Menu” in the bottom right corner.
- Choose “Cards,” then click “Digital Wallet.”
- Tap “Apple Pay,” “Google Pay,” or “Samsung Pay,” depending which digital wallet you want to use.
- From the list of eligible cards, add your Wells Fargo Reflect to the digital wallet.
Wells Fargo will generate a virtual credit card number when you pay with your Wells Fargo Reflect through an eligible digital wallet. The Wells Fargo Reflect virtual credit card information is tied to your credit card, but is not the same as your actual card number. This way, hackers who get ahold of the merchant’s records won’t be able to see your real card information. Virtual credit card numbers therefore help prevent fraud by adding an extra layer of protection to your credit card purchases.
In addition to digital wallet options, Wells Fargo Reflect cardholders can also get a virtual card number through Click to Pay, which was released by Visa, Mastercard and American Express in 2019. The Click to Pay logo looks like a square with two arrows pointing to the right, and you’ll be able to create an account and add your Wells Fargo Reflect card if you click on the logo when you check out with participating merchants.
