You can use your Wells Fargo credit card anywhere Visa and American Express are accepted.

The majority of Wells Fargo's credit cards are Visa, which is the second largest credit card network globally. In the U.S. only, there are more than 10.7 million merchants accepting Visa card payments.

The Wells Fargo Propel, on the other hand, is an American Express card. Although Amex isn't amongst the most widely accepted card networks, it's accepted in over 10.6 million U.S. locations. International acceptance is a bit trickier, especially in Europe where stores and restaurants don't always accept Amex.

Keep in mind that using your Wells Fargo credit card abroad could come with foreign transaction fees. Check out your card's terms and conditions or call 1-800-642-4720 to find out.
