The Chase Sapphire Reserve® 100k offer could come back, seeing as credit card bonuses change regularly, though there’s no telling when that might be. The 100k bonus was a limited-time promotion designed to plug the debut of Chase Sapphire Reserve, and that bonus has not been available since early 2017. When it was available, cardholders earned 100,000 reward points in return for spending $4,000 in the first three months after opening an account.

Currently, new Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders may qualify for an initial bonus of 60,000 bonus points for spending $4,000 in the first 3 months, which is still one of the most lucrative initial bonus offers on the market. When redeemed for travel purchases through Chase, the bonus rewards will easily cover the card’s hefty $550 annual fee.
