“CRDT First” is credit-bureau shorthand for Credit First National Association. Credit First, as it is commonly known, issues credit cards affiliated with automotive companies, such as Bridgestone, Firestone and Tires Plus. Altogether, roughly 4.6 million people have a Credit First card, according to the company’s website.

Hopefully, this explains why you see “CRDT First” written on your credit report. But if you don’t have a Credit First credit card and did not recently apply for one, further action will be required. I show $1400 avil on a CRDT credit account but I don't have a card. Maybe firestone pulled one 4 yrs. ago not sure. I need it off tmy report trying to get accounts stabilized so my score increases for a home loan later . Tmiller
