Your name might not be on the mortgage. If you applied for the mortgage together with someone else, then the mortgage might be in their name. Unfortunately, if your name was intentionally excluded from the mortgage documents at the time of purchase, you cannot add your name to the mortgage without refinancing your home. You can have your name added to the house deed, but this will not affect your credit score.
The lender does not report to the credit bureaus. Some lenders choose to report problems only, while others report to just one bureau instead of all three. Unfortunately you cannot force them to report, and neither can the bureaus. You can try reasoning with them, but that's entirely up to them.
Most nontraditional loan types, such as interest only or owner financing, have very strict reporting rules. If your mortgage is not listed on your credit report based on these reporting rules, you can't do anything to work around them.
There might be an error in the loan papers. An error could include a transposed digit from your Social Security number or your name misspelled, among others. If you think this is the cause, you should contact the lender and go over the contract's details with them to make sure.
