As we grow old there will come a day when we may not be able to care for ourselves. The questions becomes, who, will take care of me. Some believe that family will be there and perhaps they will. Many times the financial burden is more than family can accept.

Long Term Care Insurance is for that day. No, Medicare does not cover these expense like nursing homes, home care, etc. medicaid might but that is a big might. The question is , how, do you want to be assisted when you can't do it yourself. LTC plans give you the funding to get the care you want.

Do not wait. The best time to purchase these plans is 45 to 60 when you are still healthy.
