Yes, they do. On its website, Cardinal Financial boasts fast closings, quick turn times, and consistently smooth transactions. You can find out more at: https://cardinalfinancial.com/about/the-cardinal-difference/.

We are currently at the end of a rate extension. Our rate expired after our mortgage officer took a week off and we had no returned phone calls, e mails or texts from anyone on our loan team. It seems there was an issue in underwriting and rather than informing us so it could be corrected, our loan was kicked out of the system. Since our loan officer was on vacation, no one told us anything. So, here we are at the end of that rate extension and still no closing. We have provided every document needed and promptly e signed all documents. We have no idea when we will close and are not at all sure if it ever will. I regret starting this process with Cardinal.

I’m having a similar issue with no one letting me know what is going on, not returning calls, asking for docs that have already been provided and we are now less than a week from when our locked rate expires and we have to pay fees if we go past that date even though we have done everything we were supposed to do and in a very timely manner. Seems like they are deliberately dragging their feet. So far it’s taken 40 days and still waiting to close...
