Yes, you can get your Frontier Miles miles back if you cancel an award flight before departure, without paying any cancellation fees. Once your flight has been successfully canceled, miles will be immediately credited back to your account. If you don’t cancel before departure, the miles may be forfeited.
Just keep in mind that a $75 redeposit fee applies to most Basic fares, unless you're a Gold member or higher or you book an eligible award or bundle.
