Yes, Marriott Bonvoy is the same as Marriott Rewards. Marriott Bonvoy replaced the original Marriott Rewards loyalty program, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards, and Starwood Preferred Guest in 2019, creating a single program that encompasses all their rewards.

Marriott Bonvoy works the same way as its predecessor Marriott Rewards and most other hotel loyalty programs, in that members make eligible purchases to earn loyalty points. They can redeem those points for free nights and other purchases at Marriott properties. Marriott Bonvoy points are worth about 0.91 cents per point on average.
