A Lufthansa Credit Card mile is worth 2.35 cents each, on average. Of course, that’s only if you redeem them for Miles & More flights. If you use them for something else, their value will diminish.

Another thing to note is that the miles will expire after 36 months from the date that you earned them. If you want to know how to earn them, the best way to do that is to buy your ticket directly from Miles & More integrated airline partners (2 miles per $1 spent).

Essentially, the Lufthansa Credit Card rewards program gives you the most when using your card to buy plane tickets from Lufthansa, and when you redeem your miles for the same purpose.

That really depends on where you want to go. The points have a specific value (around 1.4 cents), so if you want to get a free trip, make sure you have enough points to balance the price of the ticket.
